It's that time again!

The Football Season starts in earnest on Saturday (apols to those in Scotland - I know that yours started two days ago).

My first game will be, of course, Barnet v Torquay, at glorious Underhill!  If anyone is too anxious to wait for the start of the Premiership and fancies coming along, just let me know.

So I'm assuming the keeper is a hottie?  I haven't watched any football other than Arsenal for the most part (being a newly converted fan).

We lost 1-0, with Torquay scoring in the 95th minute!  I am furious!  We were playing so well - new signings Magno Vieira and Jason Puncheon, plus Tresor Kandol (he was in prison for the Arsenal game) have given a new lease of life to the team, and we cam so close to scoring several times, but were blocked by Torquay's keeper.

Your man did well...though the goal came from a dodgy back pass from Paul Warhurst which Harrison missed....

Not a great start to the season, but a typical one for The Bees.

Turn out was 2800, which isn't bad, but Torquay brought a lot with them.
