Financial Planning Software for Mac

Does anyone have one they like?  I use and older version of Quicken US but i'm having trouble finding a current version here, where it won't cost me a fortune.

Hi Mrs Pink,

I used to work for Intuit and was involved quite a bit with Quicken!

Basically, the UK didn't get a MAC version of Quicken, quite simply because there wasn't enough demand to warrant it's development. We used to get quite a few requests for it, but not enough to give the green light to it for the UK market.

Ive been creating a website for supporting Quicken users and will be launching it for operation over the next few weeks pending a few technical hitches being ironed out - I used to speak to quite a few Americans (and Canadians!) as part of my position at Intuit and fingers crossed can offer my expertise with the software for the UK user base (now without any support) as well as more specific/change of country users like yourself.

I'll make an announcement on this board shortly - I was hoping do have done so a few months ago, but a few other projects have taken precedence!

As for other packages - they do exist, there's quite a few that are specifically for the MAC - as a 'general' view, they're not quite as slick or polished as Quicken or Microsoft Money for that matter - but you may find the functionality is perfect for your needs. I'll have a dig around and see if I can find some of the links.

If you have any Quicken specific queries - drop me a message and I'll help as best I can (free at the moment! until my site goes live!   ;) )

Cheers! Dennis! West London & Slough UK!
