Packaged pancakes

I have always just stuck them in the toaster, what do you do with them?

packaged pancakes?!!  thats just WRONG!!!

I don't do it ALL the time...just when the kids are in school and want a quick brekkie.........on the weekends it is homemade jobbies!

On the weekends, I go all out and get the big sized Kingsmills pancakes and I skip the toaster and heat them up in the frying pan  !!!  Wooo!! Then I put butter and ice cream syrup on them and serve them up.

I have no shame, no I don't, LOL.

Where do you get these packaged Kingsmill pancakes? Are they like normal American buttermilk pancakes?

I find them at Asda in the bread section and sometimes at Dunne's, they come 4 big pancakes to the package. They are pretty much the same as other package pancakes but bigger more like the size of pancakes we'd be used to.

We've used packaged before, taste just as good as homemade. I just pop them in the microwave for a couple of seconds.

I have no shame, either!!! 

Trust me, when you have kids shortcuts become a way of life! 

Are you guys talking about Scotch Pancakes?
I just eat them as they are, but with a bit of butter spread on... or butter + jam.

I think they mean the regular kind of pancake, rather than the little Scotch ones.

I don't know, what are Scotch pancakes?

Those are what I've been calling pancakes, and they come in small or large lol - why are they called Scotch?

Dunno.. it says 'scotch' on the label... always has done, even when i was buying them in London.  I assume it's a traditionally Scottish recipe?

OK, now I have to get some of these!  (I would say for when I am feeling lazy, but I always feel lazy )
