a new breakthrough!  My credit card has been charged $190.00 for the I-130 processing fee!!!!!!!!!

:)

You're definitely on your way now!

Good luck!!!  I know that you've been working towards this for a while!

Aimloo,

Any news yet?   I sent my I-130 on Sept 16th so I'm really interested in tracking your progress!!  Where are you now and where will you be moving?

i thought i'd update you all as london has been REALLY REALLY slow the past few months.

But last week they really started rolling and went from saying they were processing 2 August, to 20 August....so hopefully the approval letter will be in the mail and we will be SET.

It does go that way... nothing, nothing, nothing...  wait, wait, wait...  then there's a burst of activity that involves gathering tons of paperwork.

You'll get there, my friend!!!!   ;)

Hi- hope you don't mind me popping into your conversation but I thought I'd give you a bit of time frame for the US immigration process- my husbands green card just came through in late September.  We filed for his I-130 in late August 2005.  He had his interview for his K-3 visa in early February.  We filed for his AOS in June 2006 and he received his interview in late September and received his actual card the first week of October.  You don't need to worry about the processing dates- we went through a lot faster than the dates they showed and I know a lot of other people who did as well.  Good luck to you!!

Are you DCF'ing?  I thought of that after I put my post on!!  Good luck to you, nonetheless.  It's a daunting process, especially as compared to the British immigration process.  I don't know if you know, or care, but there is a great website if you want any help/advice/support at www.visajourney.com [nofollow]
