Cinnamon!

http://www.everythingcinnamon.com/

Prices seem cheaper than cybercandy for the cinnamon stuff.  Haven't ordered from them myself yet, but thought I'd pass along the link!

Oh wow!

Thanks for listing this site- I'm a HUGE Cinnamon fan and have the worst time finding the stuff I like in England! I keep having friends and family bring Cinnamon Tic-Tacs and Altoids with them when they visit hehe

Thanks!
Jen

These people (Brits!) even smuggle over the refridgerated Pilsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls!  They buy them last thing before leaving and wrap them in foil before packing!  I am DEFINITELY trying this on my next trip over!   ;)

Perhaps I'm missing something here, but what's difficult in finding cinnamon over here?  What do you think hot-cross buns, mulled wine, hot rum toddy, cinnamon toast etc. are flavoured with?  Just look in the spice section of your local supermarket, or if you want it in stick form, go to your local deli.  Or is it a brand/trade mark of a range of products?

Cinnamon gum and candies are almost non-existent here.  My boys savour their stashes of Big Red and Cinnamon Dentyne!  I'm rather partial to Cinnamon Certs.  And the older boy likes Jolly Rancher Fire candy.

Although, you're right, Howard.  The UK makes very good use of cinnamon as a spice!  Yum!

Yes, Peedal, the lack of cinnamon candy/gum is rather obvious, eh?  Know what I miss?  Fireballs!  Love 'em, love 'em.

Speaking of Fireballs, I met a group of Brits one night out on the piss and introduced them to Fireball shots.  Mind, I had to go to the store to buy the Tabasco, but it was worth it just to see the looks on their faces after the first shot. [smiley=devilish.gif]

Ah, right, thanks Peedal!  I remember as a boy in traditional sweet shops you could get cinnamon balls, (along with liquorice bootlaces, sherbet lemons, sugar mice, gob-stoppers, humbugs and all those sweeties of yesterday) but it seems, as you say, that cinnamon-flavoured sweets are difficult to find here now, though

does them still!
