Coffeebean, I am so very sorry, hon.  I, too, lost both my parents in a short time (my Mom in 2002, my Dad last year.)  I know how hard this is.  My heart goes out to you.

It's not an easy process, but I'm coping well under the circumstances.

Now I'm concentrating on getting the sun to shine so that I can don my big, black sunglasses so that I can venture outside at some point...maybe get some fresh air and something to distract me a little. I keep swinging between being 'normal' and just breaking down in tears.

I agree. Crying is an important part of the grieving process. Best to let it out as much as you like.

I agree about the crying, I just don't want to do it in public... it just feels too personal of an emotion for strangers to gawk at, wondering what has happened.
