Has anyone been to the village of Baltimore in Ireland?  Ever since DW and I took a trip to Cork in '97 and found out there was a village called Baltimore down the coast I've been intrigued (being from Baltimore, Maryland myself).

I was reminded of it having recently read David Mitchell's Ghostwritten which was partly about people living on Clear Island, one of the islands off the south west coast of Ireland.

I don't think there's any direct connection between the 2 places but it still interests me!
And the world first spoke to me in Sensurround
