My DH said he didnt like Ranch also, but when i gave him SALSA RANCH, he gobbled it up and said it was great!  I guess the extra spicy kick gave it what it needed for him..

The only thing I really eat Ranch with is baked potatoes, especially since I can't get Creamy Cucumber over here.  I use those Hidden Valley packets to make it.  I prefer homemade Italian dressing on my salads, and French onion dip for my potato chips.

I've never been a huge Ranch fan. On salads, I either do a homemade vinaigrette (i.e., French) or homemade Caesar. For dips, I make my own out of creme fraiche (or cream cheese diluted with a bit of milk), grated sharp cheddar and finely chopped chives.

0o0o I dunno if any of you have been to Chilli's but they have a DELICIOUS avacado ranch dip for their southwestern eggrolls! ...TO DIE FOR!  ;D

Oh I do it on potatoes too!

Chary that dip sounds lovely... is that all there is to it?

I love salsa ranch!!!  I used to eat it everyday w/chips when I worked as a bartender at a mexican restaurant.  I still do every once in awhile......now I want some.

What pray tell is Salsa Ranch?  Is it just the two mixed together?

That's all I use. I threw it together once when I had guests coming and needed a dip, but had no time to buy anything. You could really add just about anything to it -- any fresh chopped herbs would work.

I've never seen that either but that's what it appears to be: http://www.fbnr.com/Recipes/060/4223001060.htm

I think I'll give that a shot. Sounds nice.

That's the way I make it.  I've never found a pre-mixed that didn't have a "wang" to it.  It's soooooo good.

Never touched it, never intend to.  Don't even like the smell of it!
I leave for work at 7:10 each morning, and get home at 6:00 each evening.  Wish I could stay home all day and do nothing but sit around on UKY!  What a life!  And I have no Internet access in my classroom, so I can't just stop teaching and surf UKY.  Can you believe it??  Horrid, my job!

I just had it tonight with fried calamari and fried cheese sticks. Fattening but yum :P

I'd never heard of it either, but crabbit.expat brought me a bottle and it is INCREDIBLE!  It's normal ranch, but has something else in it... like maybe a hot jalapeno salsa, or else just jalapeno chillies added in.

yummm, salsa and ranch.  I've been doing it for years with anything Mexican I make.  I just mix salsa and bottled ranch together,  It's pretty good on omelette's too.

You can have my share of Ranch. I am not a fan of it either.  :P I'll eat it, but no cravings.

Ketchup or Mayo or even better, ketchup next to mayo on a plate for dipping... now that's what I like!
