Franks Red Hot!
« on: October 22, 2006, 02:33:59 PM »
Anyone know where I can find anything close to Frank's Red Hot Sauce or Frank's itself??  Also has anyone found any lemon pepper seasoning???  I had my Mom bring over 6 shaker jars full, but I would like to find it here. Anyone have any luck with either??

What's your lemon pepper secret?!? That's the only thing I've found I need to have sent over from the US! But it would be much more convenient to make my own.

There used to be a 'Californian Lemon Pepper' paste in a jar, which was quite nice, but i havent seen it for a couple of years.

My MIL got us some Encona Caribbean West Indian Original Hot Pepper Sauce, probably from Lidl.  It tastes very, very similar to Frank's.  Good luck finding it.

We love Franks. In fact it is the item that we have all visitors bring with them in payment for staying with us!!  We just had chicken wings 2 nights ago (Franks and butter-no other way). Fortunately I'm heading back to the US this week to stock up on some (obviously not my only reason for going). ;)

But have not found any over here in the UK.

I bring mine from the USA or get it brought to me...

Ahh thank goodness there are other Franks fans out there.  Roy and I just purchased some hot sauce from Tesco it tastes good but it isn't Franks.  I will just have to have it imported.  The lemon pepper recipe I will try.  I eat lemon pepper on EVERYTHING!  Thanks everyone.

Occasionally I'll see Frank's Red Hot sauce and Frank's Buffalo Wing sauce at Costco, but it's sporadic.

I found lemon pepper at Sainsbury's today! I had just given up finding it, when lo and behold there it was!  ;D
