2. the ten year old has finally clicked with reading.

1. Tesco online ordering and home delivery of groceries
2. My kittens sleeping belly up on the couch

1.  Seeing sheepdog trials ... herding ducks!

2.  Heading down to the beach now for some evening drinks with friends.

1. finally feeling settled in my new place with my housemate

2. The wonderful weather we had today!

oh, and 3. found out I provisionally passed all my assignments for last semester. Now I just have to do the biggie!

1. Had a fantastic time this weekend with my best friend, who was visiting from the US!

2. Got a package from my folks with several nifty little surprises inside! 

1. Finally being back with my children in the U.S.

2. All the great England chocolate that we brought back with us to sustain us for the three weeks before we go back to England.

1. got a first in my latest course

2. having tacos tonight

1. I am the only person in my department that is here today. 
2. I just remembered that I have a half day tomorrow. YAY!

1. Finally getting some stuff done on the dissertation (only 6 more weeks of this madness- woot!)

2. Going out tonight to celebrate a friend's birthday and hang out with friends!

1) Prickly pear liquer from Malta, on ice.
2) Today seems like Friday!  It really should seem like Saturday (to me) because I only work Monday through Wednesday, but all day long I've thought 'Ah! Friday!'  Hail to every day being a Friday!

and #3 - It's sunny.

1. I did yoga for an hour this afternoon and it really seemed to relieve some tension in my body.

2. My new decaf Yorkshire tea.

1. We finally had a nice picnic at the park with a nice home made sandwich!
2. I'm sitting here eating a tun of Haagen Dazs Limited Edition Mano and Passion Fruit Ice Cream.  Yummy.

1. I finally found a Kiehls here because I needed some more hair stuff.
2. Another great day here in the Windy City (Well a few drops of rain) with loads of walking around. I LOVE IT HERE!!!!!
