Two things you are happy about today/

1.  Aillidh loved her new nursery!

2.  Got my first two batches of brownies made - one for us, one for the next door neighbour.

I've got two more for today:

1) My cancellation with T-Mobile without the early termination fee due to relocation outside the US went off without a hitch. Probably the only thing for this trip that wasn't complicated!

2) I'm apparently not lactose intolerant in the UK 

Just randomly discovered that I can drink a glass of milk and not have digestive problems from it here, but not in the US. Weird!

1.  Live band at swing dancing tonight - my fave Rob and Pete. Last time I saw them they sang 'Chicago' (that toddlin' town). 

2.  Things going forward with Edinburgh.   

1.  Spending a nice, relaxed, sunny and warm (!!) afternoon outdoors with friends.

2.  A cat with a muddy smudge of a nose after burrowing around in mole holes!

1. Tomorrow is Friday!
 

2. My realtor has 10 houses lined up for us to view Saturday. Woo-hoo!

1.  A friend and I held two pretty successful car boot sales this weekend.

2.  I'm tired ... but it's a good kind of tired. 

1.  all packed and ready to roll for my trip

2.  got my remote access sorted out for my work laptop, so now i can work from home, or anywhere! 

1. Good friends who listen to a mum whining.
2. the ten year old was out all day!

1) My first encounter with a big, hairy British spider was intercepted by our only male flatmate who happened to be in the kitchen at the time.

2) finally starting the upward swing out of this cold... About time!

1. Fresh lemon scones with homemade bramble jelly and cream. YUM!
2. Antiques Roadshow featured a Chinese carved ivory chess set answering to the description of the one Lord Peter gave Harriet in Gaudy Night.

1. I found the perfect wedding dress today and bought it

1: Thanks to an operation I had a few weeks ago, this is my fourth day of walking without the use of crutches after using them for two long years. 

2: There's only a month and a few weeks left to go before I go home for a visit.
