1. My DB made my lunch for work today.  Cranberry and Brie on a baguette.
2. I can comfortably wear my favorite cords again.  Yay!
I am the architect of my destiny.

1.)  First day I've started to feel some form of happiness being back in America

2.)  Getting two paychecks from work during my absence in the UK that I wasn't expecting.

1.  Hearing the pitter patter of rain outside
2.  Praising a student who has struggled with attendance and seeing her face light up because someone noticed she's been at school regularly.  THAT made my entire day because she was so happy.
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

1. I had a fairly productive day and still managed to get a walk into the city centre and bask in the beauty of this day! The blue skies! The sunlight on all that stone! The autumn leaves! (Made me a bit giddy, didn't it? ;D)

2. I made soup for dinner and have enough leftover for two lunches.

1. It's Friday and I am finally starting to feel a little better. (Voice is still squeaky/hoarse though.)

2. My new beau (who had been out of town) came over last night to watch a movie with me and didn't mind that he was exposing himself to my bug. He even checked if I needed him to stop at the chemists for any meds before he came.   :-*

1) My last day at my job and we got to have cake (which I made) and mini-muffins (which they bought from the store) and I got a couple of nice cards from co-workers.

2) Having my sister "make" our lunch today (meaning, she put vegetarian chicken patties in the toaster oven) while we watched last night's episode of The Office (about Diwali.)
