Two things you are happy about today/

1.  No uni today.
2.  I'm not feeling sick anymore.

1. Its the third day of beautiful sunny and cool weather in our area. Loving it!

2. Getting a well needed hair cut this evening. 

1) Going out tonight for curry and drinks with friends.

2) Going out tommorow night to a comedy club in Manchester with some friends ive not seen in a while.

1. found a child's desk chair in the charity shop for a fiver.
2. we're dog sitting today which means the husband, child and dog will have to go out for a long walk at some point.

1.  DH gone to the football

2.  I'm doing some baking today

1) DH is home and we have the whole weekend together!
2) It's a sunny saturday!

2. Freshly-baked cookies!

1.  my MIL gave me my xmas present early today... a thick envelope full of purple-coloured notes!!   

2.  got the new Ikea catalogue today, and spent 90 minutes in the bath leafing through it.

1.  The girls played happily in their playroom for an entire hour whilst I got on with house cleaning.

2.  Finding an awesome candle/soap shop with a great sale on pillar candles! 

1. Getting the furniture from a family friend.

2. Convincing DB that just because he's never had a recliner and it's a novelty for him, does not mean it goes with the new stuff and it should not stay. 

1.  renewed my lapsed Costco membership today

2.  bought a 6-pack of beautiful white albacore Chicken of the Sea!  No more brown cat-food tuna, and no more paying £2.99 for a small jar of Sainsbury's white tuna!

Fabulous! I got a care package from my stepmother last week with 6 big packets of white albacore tuna! There's nothing like it! 

1.  Library is selling off their old magazines.  Got four issues of Good Food for £1!

2.  Job interview on Friday.  Hoping it ends up in me getting the job!

1. After weeks and weeks of being without a shower the landlord finally arranged for workmen to finally fix it - they arrived today! 

2. Wrapping up several projects at work this week.

1. The second movement of Beethoven's 'Emperor' Piano Concerto   :\\\'( (happy tears)

2. Taking my kids to see the fireworks tonight.  They scheduled it for the half-term and it's good weather - YAY!
