Two things you are happy about today/

1. Signed the paperwork for my new job this morning.

2. New NHS payscales finally came out and I'm getting nearly £400 more p/a than I'd expected!

1) My British citizenship application is on its way to the Home Office!

2) I lost 8 pounds of BLOAT in the last week & I feel sooooo much better.  I worked out at the gym today, and had another Pilates session under the expert tutelage of pittpanther36.

1. so close to taking my free holiday this weekend at Butlins. I've never won anything like this before!

2. got some work done on an assignment I've been avoiding.

1.  Having a lovely long chai-fuelled gossip-sesh with Douglas under the guise of going over my appraisal

2.  Got a fantastic freebie in the post!

1. Played  with a Macbook, so sweet.

2. Had a sushi fix

1. Taking the 10 year old to MacDonalds for lunch after her asthma appt.
2. Order of the Pheonix is out on DVD.

1. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be working all this week, which means I just need 2ish more weeks of temp work to meet my £1K savings goal

2. It's a really pretty day outside, and I have a fabulous view from my office window.

1.  I just got a big package in the mail from my sister back in the US--and I am waiting for Mike to come home so we can open it together--I think there's Cheez-Nips in it!! 

2.  It's another gorgeous sunny autumn day in Yorkshire!

1.  I'm in the UK and reunited with hubby.
2.  Had a fantastic meander through the park with all three of the dogs.  My little pups loved their free romp through all the autumn leaves.

1. I have a job interview this afternoon at 3PM (first of two this week). I am nervous and excited.

2. I was able to put together a smart outfit today, (despite the fact that most of my nice shirts are wrinkled) because my mom bought me a nice blue jumper the other day.

1.  Had my last sugarcraft class today! (not all that much fun, so I'm kind of glad it's over)

2.  The washing machine seems to have stopped leaking.

1. Yet another beeautiful Autumnal day - bright blue sky and a nip in the air and pretty golden leaves everywhere.

2. It's the first day of my last week at this job!!!

1. We have been having a blast with my mom this past week.  I've been treated a lot which is always nice.

2 Josh has been ill with everything under the sun the past month and a half.  He has had a cough for 3 weeks now and it's gotten worse this week.  Went to the Dr and he gave us  antibiotics for the cough, I'm thrilled.  I was so afraid I would have to leave and Josh would suffer more.  Plus the Dr is kinda cute
