Two things you are happy about today/

2.  It's hella storming outside, I love it!

Mine:

1 - Being back at Trader Joe's   (first time without mama telling me what to buy!)

2 - XM radio... LOVE it.  Particularly the 70's channel

2. The parasol and cushions for the garden set that we bought in APRIL (yes, that's right, APRIL) is being delivered finally.

Thank goodness that parasol arrived in time for you to get relief from this parching sun!!  Now get out there and do some barbecuing!

1.  Just got back from Trader Joe's and they had the Chili Lime Chicken Burgers.

2.  Got my hair done today and it looks great.

1. DH reached Pennsylvania safely.

2. I have wonderful friends...I am very fortunate.

2. Feeling motivated today. 

1.  DH going to the football today, so i'll have the house to myself!

2.  3-pack of flavoured (amaretto, vanilla & cognac) extra thick cream marked down in Sainsburys to 10p!   Not sure what im going to do with it (sell-by date 7 Jan), but i couldn't let that bargain go by!

LOL!! I think that's why it's finally arrived - it's completely useless at the moment!! Oh well, maybe it will bring us good fortune for a warm spring!!

*I spent xmas in Mississippi.  The warmish weather made me uncomfortable so I slept with the windows open (at around 40 degrees) and had a humidifier on in my bedroom.  I suddenly realized that I had created my own piece of Manchester -- cold and damp -- in Mississippi.  Now I have the real thing. 

1. My car is finally finally clean
2. I have a meatloaf in the oven and I can't wait to dig into it.

1. Our very good friend who said he would never have children became a daddy of a little girl last night.  I can't wait to see her!

2. I had my mom here for a week+ and although she left today I am so happy that she came!

2. UK Yankee

1. I bought a load of Hallmark Christmas ornaments for 75% off!
2. I'm on my own until 7.   

1.  I don't have to go to a party
2.  I just discovered that my cat likes Doritos

1.  Have packed up loads of boxes to ship away!

2.  Am going to be getting ready to go in a calm, relaxed manner rather than the frantic running around that is status quo.
