Two things you are happy about today/

1) Work week is over!

2) Cuba libre in hand.

1. I passed my master's degree!

2. I now have all the essential documents needed for my visa appointment next week- just waiting for more financial docs from my mother which will strengthen the application even more.

Well done!!! 

1.  I have all my documents submitted to my courier who is taking them tomorrow morning to the consulate.

2.  I got free chocolates with my hotel room and an upgrade!

1.  I survived - and did well - my first day of teaching (after FOUR years!)

2.  I'm very pleased that I completely trust the handyman who's got a key to my house!

1. My car made it to work in it's ailing condition, now I have to get through a short staff meeting and then I drive 5 short miles to the mechanic, and hand over my wallet.

2. I slept pretty well last night.

1.  It is Friday and I survived my first full week at my new job.
2.  I get to actually spend time with my husband (who I have barely seen all week) this weekend preparing for moving into our first house together.

1.  my email inbox at work is reduced to only one page!

2.  i had a lovely bit of crunchy battered haddock at lunch.

1. I found a great new mechanic
2. My job is safe and will not be cut.

That is an amazing feat - wow, I wish I could do that.

1.  I got my post office errands finished.

2.  Found out some good news at work.

1) A walk down my street in the bracing air to the shops.

2) Now off to a long hot Lush bath.

Its Friday.
I am having a curry for dinner.

1.  I find out my visa approval today.

2.  There are still flights open for tonight.

1.  Had a nice walk in clear weather before anyone woke up this morning.

2.  Finding some gorgeous rolls in a local bakery.

1. I'm finally under my warm duvet

2. I can sleep as late as I want tomorrow

1. I finally paid off my damn American credit card.  Woo-hoo!
2. Coming home to a warm flat and DH's delicious seafood risotto.  Yum.
