1. I've done so much walking this week - I really feel good.

2. My daughter is really excited to be making Valentines for her school class, for her first time.   :)  Even though the kids here don't do it, she is thrilled and said "Of course I want to give one to everybody!"  I brought back some American kid valentines (which were bought in post-sales by my Mom) on our last trip to the US and I've got some tiny jelly hearts and chocolate hearts.

1.  I've finished all the cleaning and now just have a peaceful afternoon of ironing ahead of me.

2.  A pretty little jug of snowdrops on the window sill:

Pretty indeed! I'm jealous!!! But glad you shared. :D

I'm not at all jealous of your afternoon of ironing. ;)

1. Just had the perfect cup of tea - Taylors of Harrogate Afternoon Darjeeling, sweet & milky.  With biscuits.

2. I'm really excited that our home milk delivery starts tomorrow morning!  I'm still amazed that there are milkmen who still deliver to your house over here.

1.  The workday is nearly over (well, officially at least).

2.  One of my bosses stood behind me and sent an email to the idiots saying in essence, 'fck off - you're wrong'. :)

You'll LOVE it. I'm sooo happy with our milk round. I never waste it anymore 'cause it's always fresh and I never run out 'cause I get a bit every other day. Plus it makes me smile to open the door to the cute little glass bottles.

1. It's Friday night and I have everything in place for a nice, peaceful weekend....

2. While I hate it when dh does a night shift, it did mean I got to have a spicy tofu stirfry for dinner without listening to a lot of whinging....

We're going to start by getting five pints a week - (one a day) they deliver every day except Wednesdays & Sundays.  I think that'll be enough for us, but if not, we can always order more! :)

ETA:  Plus, it's one more thing that we're buying from local, independent producers/suppliers.  It makes me happy knowing that we're supporting our neighbors & community - rather than Tescos... :)

You'll love it! It's so convenient. Our milkman was a 27 year old young man who was gorgeous!

Ours only comes Mon, Wed, and Fri so we get a pint on Mon and Wed and two on Fridays. That seems to work but then we don't drink much milk - dh uses it for coffee and have have it on cereal or in porridge.

We love our milk delivery!  One less thing for me to carry home from the grocery.   :)

I am happy to finally be with my husband after three years of hardships.

I am happy to have thanfully made my flight on time and not been delayed any further.
*Yank or Yankee is one of the lesser derogatory slang terms for any American, whether from New England or not.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yankee
*The Oxford English Dictionary states that one of the earliest theories on the word derivation is from the Cherokee word "eankke" for coward as applied to the residents of New England.

You don't hear me calling you a bloody brit, so don't call me a yank!

Our milkboy use to offer lots of other things besides just milk ie. juices, cheese and selection boxes at Christmastime.
