Two things you are happy about today/

1: My husband and I finally have a home of our own (signed the rental agreement yesterday)! 

2: I was able to talk to family online (via IM) for a little while tonight.

1.  I FINALLY got around to hanging some pictures of our wedding and decorated the mantle.

2.  I just made scones for the first time and they turned out edible   This was the first time I did anything that involved me making/kneading dough.  I hadn't done it before cause I was afraid of making dough but I conquered my fear

Other than that, utterly crap day.

1. I quit on the spot my second job that was seasonal for Christmas. (they won't be paying me for 5 weeks work until late January WTF)

Mine are as follows:

1.  I am going home at 17:45 from work or so.

2.  My friend is walking me home.

-I got the International Student office at the Universtiy of Westminster to agree liase with the US VA go get one of their courses approved with them so I can start in September and collect my Montgomery GI Bill benefits!  Now I have to decide between the courses I'm looking into, Biomedical Sciences or Biotechnology.

-I also found out that you can actually get US Federal Student Loans to attend that uni.  So, if all goes well, I should be a student next September
