I'm getting a hair cut tomorrow!

wicked good -- and so very necessary -- haircut last night

booking a massage for tomorrow (awesome xmas pressie from DH) 

1 - Walking into a warm and empty Starbuck's on the way to work this morning and getting a delicious coffee from a friendly barrista

2 - Putting on a brand new, SIZE SMALLER skirt this morning!

1.  Getting some fantastic buys at the auction today

2.  Having someone recognise my cat from a portrait I was having framed ("Is that Willie the cat from television?")

1. Rich realized we had still been paying for BT internet service after we had switched to Sky months ago.  So we are getting a chunk of change back now

2.  It's almost the weekend!

1. I had to tighten my belt this morning AND pants that had been snug are looser!
2. The weekend will arrive in Boston in T-minus 2 hours 30 minutes 22 seconds and counting....

I received an email today about a post I applied for three weeks ago. Apparently they had funding issues and haven't had any interviews but now it's resolved I've been asked if I'm still interested in the post. I'd completely written this one off and it's a post I'd absolutely LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE to have!

Won a cool CD from a radio station this morning qualifying me for a trip to Paris contest.

It's Friday.

I received an email today about a post I applied for three weeks ago. Apparently they had funding issues and haven't had any interviews but now it's resolved I've been asked if I'm still interested in the post. I'd completely written this one off and it's a post I'd absolutely LOVELOVELOVELOVELOVE to have!

Fingers crossed!!!!! 

1. Got every floor in my house mopped today by 10am

2. Kids are behaving nicely (thus far)

1. worked with a good team at work last night....techinically most of that was today

2. made some bakers chocolate one bowl brownies for work tonight...they are gonna be gone in 5 minutes!
