Two things you are happy about today/

1.  I feel like the job interview went well yesterday.  Even if I don't get offered the job, I'm confident in how I came across and not nearly so nervous to interview for something else.

2.  Talked to my mother on the phone...she's been recording 'House' on DVD for me and is sending me two new episodes next week!

1.  Surviving one of the most difficult client meetings I have had in my life.

2.  Finally doing my expenses and discovering I have £1014 due to me!

1.  My holiday for three days next week was approved.  So, I get to spend time with DB before he flies back to England.

2.  When the alarm went off this morning, DB pulled me into his arms and whispered, "No work today, please. I miss you when you aren't here."  Unfortunately, I had to come into work, but, that made my day!  I am one lucky woman....

3. I am cheating and doing three.  Had my thyroid weigh-in today and I have lost 7 pounds in the last two weeks!!!  First time I have lost weight in months.  Woo hoo!


 

Two more...

1.  Received my free O2 simcards in the post today; and
2.  Was invited for a second interview for the housing association position!

1. It was a nice, warm, lovely day today

2. Another lucky day and I have a huge smile I can't wipe off! 

1.  I got up on time today - alarm went off at 6am, I turned it off but still work up at 7am which is good.

2.  I don't have any client meetings today at work - hooray!

1.   Snuggling with my doggy after being away for a week

2.  Finding a pretty cowhide rug on ebay that's not too expensive

1.  Trying something new with my hair and having it turn out great!

2.  Waking up to good election results!

2. After several years, today is the first day my mother's diamond ring fits on my finger again 

1)   My husband brought me beautiful flowers yesterday - it was four years since my dad passed away.  His love and thoughtfulness means so much to me.

2)  It's going to be a glorious day here today.  Sunny and 66 (once the fog lifts).

 

1. I found dark chocolate M&Ms at the store last night

2. Election happiness... perhaps even downright giddiness!

1. Only two more days til the weekend.

2. Got something off my chest to someone and feel like a weight has been lifted.

1.  Very exciting election results!!

2.  A very good and construction end-of-year review...with only good things for me!!

2. My mom will be here in 2 weeks, I can't wait!
