Two things you are happy about today/

1.  it's Friday!

2.  I'm wearing a fab new outfit. 

1. My boss is on annual leave and I'm working out of a different hospital today where no one really knows me or cares what I do. So I didn't get in until 9 (later than usual) and will probably go home after my last meeting - around 4 or 4:30!

2. A colleague at this hospital who I only see every couple of weeks said I look like I've lost weight!

1. It's friday and my workload doesn't look too bad today.

2. The sun is out for now, even though we're supposed to get snow tonight.

1.  Looks as though the rain will hold off for tomorrow's beach barbecue par-tay!

2.  BF is on his way!

1. Opposite here - rain forecasted for all day tomorrow. So that means a trip to the movie store and cuddling with DD & DH. Also - finally organizing the pantry, it's an eyesore.

1. I finished packing and the boxes are getting picked up today.

2. Only three more days until I fly back to England.

1) My boyfriend fixed my laptop, so I can get on UKY as much as I want and just be my usual internet junky self.

2) Being really close to buying a car.

3) Having a lovely walk into town and having an ice cream on the way back, enjoying the nice Lancashire sunshine.

"Lancashire sunshine"!  and in April!  That used to be an oxymoron!
My dog, a beautiful, good-natured Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is much better....she was in heart failure and we took her to the vets today.  They kept her in and if they couldn't help her, we were going to have to make The Big Decision, but when we went to fetch her this evening she was bright-eyed and bushy tailed!

1 It's just so gorgeous out and looks like it will be staying that way for a bit.

2 I get to meet Carrie on Sunday

1.  I might finally get my car back this weekend after almost 3 months.   

2.  I just took care of something I've been meaning to for a while and it hopefully
     will take some stress off me.

DH is coming back from NYC tonight. Only one night away but it was the first night for me alone here in the new place and i missed  him!
