1. The lovely, snuggly feeling of new slippers that still have lots of cushion to them so it feels like you are walking on pillows, and the bonus of them being four years old and never worn. ( I have so many pairs of sweater booties and slippers I can't seem to get to them all)
Hah! I was just going to post mine when I noticed yours:
1. Mr A got me a new pair of winter slippers. I wanted a pair of tall, knitted ones, but we couldn't find any. I am sure there will be more out in coming weeks and months, but our floors are getting chilly now, and I've worn out the pair of clog type ones we got a few years ago. I was just going to opt for another set of clogs, when Mr A insisted I get
these. I didn't want to get them because they seemed a bit like a novelty product. But he insisted, and promised he'd rush out to get me a new pair if these fall apart. OMIGAWD they are so warm and lovely. Even though it's still warmish out, our floors are tile and brutally cold in the winter and cold enough now. I love these weird and wonderful slippers. They remind me of a pair I had at uni which were basically shaped like giant monster feet.

2. Even though I didn't get a good night sleep again last night, my nose feels clear. I still feel like something's caught in my throat though. About to go take a short nap and hope that the last of whatever this is (allergies, lurgy) leaves me.
