1. After several lazy months of doing very little, I am back on the exercise bandwagon. Which is good as I need both the weight loss and the stress relief.

2. Just got off the phone with my best friend who never fails to support me, listen to me and make me laugh! I love her! [smiley=smitten.gif]

Good Luck with the exercises an remember if you can it take Ibuprofen will be your best friend for a while lol. I wish I could take it cause my muscles are always really sore after a new gym routine but I cant it upsets my tummy ::) so hot baths are what I have to do for my sore muscles. ;)

1. Today was the first burning of the Yankee Candle Hollyberry candle for the seaon. Joy! It is my fave of their Christmas candles.

2. MIL gave hubby and me each a huge Toblerone today.

1) Today was just near perfect glorious weather for this time of year!  Only mildly chilly, beautiful sunshine - fabulous autumnal weather.  And long may it last!!!  (stay away cold & snow - boooo)  :)

2) Off on our latest jollies tomorrow!  ;D

1. Lots of leftover beef stew from tonight, which means no rushing to cook lunch after grocery shopping tomorrow.

2. One week until the tree goes up! If I can wait that long, that is. I am really trying to wait, but I am worse than a kid.

1. I canvassed opinion at my running group last night, convinced the husband we need a long weekend in Paris, and gone and registered for my first half marathon. It wouldn't be a race without feeling nervous, right? I blame my running group's bad influence and race envy! :D

2. The sun is shining today, even though it's cold. After a full week of fog, the sun is lovely.

As the wife of a runner, I would very much appreciate such suggestions! Right now I'm working on convincing him to run the Reykjavik Marathon in August. If I'm going to go to these races too, I'd like them to be in good locations!  ;D I have a friend who does Ironmans and his wife 'helps' pick the location too!

My two things:
1.) Three hour early dismissal from work today!

2. ) Four day weekend!

Oh that's good to hear! I've previously only done London races so he only has to spend a morning standing in the cold and drizzle with a camera, but all the London halfs are in the Fall. And this way I figure he gets a holiday PLUS he can hang out with our friends who live in Paris while they wait for me to come round the course looking wrecked.

That, and free reign to eat my way through the weekend knowing I'll be burning ~3000 calories on the Sunday. :D

One Valentine's day when we were dating I was visiting Dublin and he ran some poncy 5k that all these couples were running together. Well, I was standing there reading a magazine waiting for him to come by and it was freezing! When he did come by I almost yelled to him, 'hurry up, it's feckin' cold out here!' But, I figured that wasn't keeping in the spirit of Valentine's day, so I just cheered him on. Nowadays the only races I watch him in are marathons and maybe the occasional half.

1. Leftovers! It is fun to have the 'lots and lots of leftovers' day or two after a big Thanksgiving meal.  ;D We had ours last night.

2. Only a couple days until the tree goes up, unless I do it tomorrow like I want to.
