Great stuff CB!!! Well done you!

1.) Saw my sister perform with the Boston Pops Orchestra last night and she got to sing with Joey Mcintyre of the NKOTB fame.  Hehehehe, she was so excited to sing back up for him (we were so excited!, lol) and we loved it- he narrated the Night Before Christmas and sang a few songs.  My sister was great, the music was great, the night was great.

2.) Enjoying home.  And my luggage got here in one piece with all my Christmas gifts. Yay!
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

Wow, that's great! Christmas Pops are so much fun. Did you get a table up front?

We were at a table in the middle, so we could see.  It was great!

1. Today is our seven year anniversary. Yay! What an adventure it has been, the flurry of phone calls, all the hours and HOURS on messenger... flying over for the first meeting... getting his US visa, then my UK visa and now working on his US visa again.  ;D

2. I went to Morrisons to use the £25 voucher to finish up getting our stocking stuffers (because Santa is a busy boy and sometimes needs help). I picked up some other treats (gourmet cheeses, cakes, mince pies etc) while I was there. We now have enough sugary goodness in the kitchen to make our teeth fall out.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]

1. I live in another country. It's very beautiful in the south east near the downs and sea I could never have imagined living here. Wow
2. I made it through my daughters first year. It has been one of the hardest years in my life

1. Santa comes SOON!  ;D Since I already know what is going to be in my stocking I am in a hurry to get to the lovely fuzzy socks.  ;D

2. I'll be settling in later with cocoa and gingerbread cookies to watch some Christmas movies.

This so counts as two...

I woke up groggy this morning, annoyed that I needed to be in for a long day at work. Before getting ready, I logged onto my computer and checked my messages. On FB the first notification was my friend's left hand with a ring. MY BFF SINCE CHILDHOOD GOT ENGAGED  ;D  [smiley=balloon.gif] [smiley=balloon.gif] [smiley=balloon.gif]

Couldn't stop smiling all day. Been waiting for this ever since I met her fiance--I know they're gonna make each other very happy :) I told coworkers and customers all day... ;D ;D ;D Gotta call my dad and tell him! He dealt with our shenanigans over the years so he'd love to know :) Gonna send them a congratulatory card/letter. They haven't picked a date yet but they are definitely waiting after uni/school ends since we're all teachers and students... ;D ;D ;D Wouldn't miss that wedding for the world :)

Dear god, I'm crying again :P

1. Had lunch this afternoon with two of my oldest, dearest friends. Love them so much, it was so nice to see them.  [smiley=smitten.gif]

2. BF finally heard from the vet about the samples they took from Monsieur Dog's foot and sent to the lab. Appears to be a fairly common and treatable bacteria that is causing the infection, and the shot and antibiotics he got should clear it up. BF said it was looking less swollen today as well. PHEW!!  :)

3. It's Christmas Eve!  [smiley=antlers.gif]

Hooray for easily treatable, visits with oldest, dearest friends and Christmas Eve!

Mine:

1. I'm tracking Santa on NORAD for a bit, for old times' sake. We used to do it every year for my nieces when they were still little enough for all the magic. The baby is now on the verge of 17. Even though my nephew - nearly 11 - did the Santa thing, he didn't have the patience to track him. He was happier playing with his trains or other toys.

2. Tummy happiness, time with friends and the festive cheer of the tree over the past few days has been great, with more to come over the next week.

2. We've booked plane tickets to Indiana for June 18th.  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
