Two things you are happy about today/

1.) Today is  (the drug form) insulin's birthday. 90 years insulin has been helping safe the lives of people with Diabetes. It's not a cure, but it means that people who used to at most live 12-20 months if they starved themselves and were lucky can now live full and happy lives.

2.)  My sister got her diploma. She's a fully certified wedding planner now!

1. Found a comfy chair by the fire (gas) in the student Commons to have my coffee.

2. A girl came and started to play the piano -- playing haltingly and with the odd wrong notes -- but I think I preferred it like that!

That paints a very cozy picture! I love hearing 'haltingly and with the odd wrong notes' too, because you know it comes from the heart and not from someone who happens to have talent but not the heart for it.

Mine:

1. Mom called while I was bored out of my mind doing the 20 min free step routine on Wii Fit. I'm going to have to take my laptop in with a DVD or something while I am in there.

2. Watching the snow back home on the local amusement park's cam in their water park.

1. We had to take our boy in tonight for his check up an he got a glowing report Yeah!!   we have to take him back in next Wed afternoon for another check up as well.

2. We didn't have to pay anything at the Vet tonight for our Siamese's check up. we were pleasantly surprised by that we were expecting at least £30 but to be told nothing was fantastic.

2. Did I mention it's FRIDAY?!!? 

1.  The sun is out!  Well...for a few more minutes anyway. 

2.  My 14 year old applied (on his own) for a grant to study drama outside school time and he received it!

1. Heading out to Portland, OR today to see one of my very best best best friends. I haven't seen her in 2 years. I am bursting with excitement and happiness! 

2. I get to use my new carry-on that I got for Christmas. Backpack no more!

2. comfy blanket, fuzzy sock and the Big Bang Theory on T.V. (LOVE that show!)

1. Our heat didn't come on this morning (the thingie needs new batteries) so hubby made a fire before he left for the gym and work. (that's a treat since we don't usually ever do that in the morning)

1. My pre op appointment at the hospital is today & since my husband is working my mommy is going with me 

2. Our son will be born tomorrow! 

I am happy that we finally got our new laptop and i am having a take away for dinner.

1. I actually feel like my old self again today for the first time in months.  Not cranky, tired, or depressed- just perky and motivated.  Perhaps my body is finally adjusting to pregnancy hormones?  Fingers crossed. 

2. I cleaned the house from top to bottom and now everything is so SHINY!

2. Last night my hubby was offered his job back! (He was laid off right after Christmas) and now he's gone from Monday-Friday instead Tuesday-Saturday night which means we can have our weekends together! Yay!! So relieved!
