1. One of my very good friends got a fantastic job at the Beeb, around the corner from my new job - woo! I'm so happy for her.
2. There's a moomins only pop up shop in Covent Garden, as my nickname is moomin,  I think I may go and get a few moomin related things :)

1. I don't have to go back to that silly class I was taking. If they would have let me test out of it weeks ago, I could have saved a lot of time and bus fare... and spent it on fuzzy socks.  ;D

2. Hubby played tech support guy this afternoon while I was out, and my laptop is working much faster than it had been.

1. Just decided we are going to Costa in the morning. It may not be Starbucks, but it still makes me a happy girl.

2. After grocery shopping this morning, I have nowhere else to go on this rainy, nasty day. Staying inside where it is warm with a mug of herbal tea (more like mug after mug after mug) suits me.

1. Just had the call to say my GCSE II test will be Thursday. So glad I was able to test out of the class, and take the actual test early. I know it isn't much in the way of qualifications, but it is a start toward UK education for my CV.

2. We've been waiting all day for Pip (our landlord's handyman) to come with a new door, so it has been an enjoyably lazy day. Other than heating us each a tin of soup, all I have done was wash yesterday's dishes, and that was very few.

1. I'm in the office alone today which means I get to lock the front door and blast music and do whatever I need to in peace and quiet! (Everyone else is out visiting with clients).

2. Hubby's job is bringing him back home just for tonight which means I don't have to wait till Friday night to see him! (I know he's only gone Monday-Friday every week, but I miss him when he's gone and it's nice to have him back!)

1. Tonight's dinner (leftover stew from last night) is in the crockpot and all I have to do is make the dumplings from a box mix to add to it.

2. Although I'm not happy about my sleepless nights, I am enjoying reading instead of tossing and turning all night. I used to read on sleepless nights, but quit when I got married.
