Two things you are happy about today/

Me again! Cancel my first one. We seem to have a bit of 'that fine rain' going on, so the clothes are now hanging over every available chair, bannister and empty spot.  I don't have time to take them to the laundrette now because we are leaving in a few minutes.

I don't have to go to work tomorrow and being able to spend a wonderful day with my husband!

1. Booked a mini break for Mr MLG's birthday this summer!

2. Got a good mark in one of my courses.

I'm still recovering, both physically and emotionally, from my awful, awful week last week, so I'm trying to find things to be happy about.

1. I was finally able to buy a Nike Fuelband at lunchtime today. I've been wanting one since they were first announced, but they're not officially out in the UK til May (the Nike+ Boxpark store has a limited allocation each day from 11am and were SUPER nice and patient in helping me get set up)

2. Tonight is my running crew night. I'm still not well/recovered enough to run but I'm looking forward to the good vibes at the pep talk beforehand.

1. Dh & I are having lunch at Bob Evans Yummy!!  

2. We are going to Walmart after lunch yippie!!   

1. False alarm. Have had pressure on my temple. Feared it was bad (as I never get headaches). I strained my temporal muscle. Too much stress, jaw clenching and teeth grinding. But certainly better than brain bleed.

2. A last dinner (before I move) with a friend tonight

1. We enjoyed a relaxing stroll through Hyde Park this morning.

2. KFC for brunch, and the one in London Victoria station is FAR tastier than the one in Blackburn.

1. French vanilla coffee with half and half

2. It's Friday! YIPEE!!!!!

1. Got all my nerd books from Amazon today. I am in graphic novel and noir heaven! 

2. Wrote what I think is my best cover letter so far for my US search. Feels a lot more coherent and well-worded than some of the others I've done. Think I may have hit my stride. 

1. Off to a friend's house later.

2. Loving the scent of my new body wash. It just smells like spring.

I could go on and on....I love Sunday mornings!

Comforts of home.  A friend posted about the weather in my part of Indiana. I looked out at the cloudy, nearly cold day and felt a pang of jealousy. 

1. 4 weeks until I move to Sheffield!

2. I told my husband that I had ordered some hair rollers from Amazon and that they should be there on Thursday. I did order the rollers, but I also ordered him some computer games, an Xbox 360, and some Xbox games. He called me because he didn't believe it could just be rollers in there, as the package was too heavy, and I got to hear his excitement on the phone when he opened it. Boy, do I love a good surprise!
