Weeeellllll, I have some anxiety issues (social and just general) and since moving, I've had a hard time doing new things without knowing exactly what I'm supposed to do because I'm afraid of embarrassing myself or doing something stupid. So, today I took the bus somewhere new by myself. Walked around and got lost and found my way back and as far as I know, I didn't embarrass myself. Anyway, it was a confidence boost.  :)

I've always had a fear of embarrassing myself, ever since childhood. When I first moved over here, I carried that fear with me, until I remembered no one knew me anyway, so it didn't matter. That really was a freeing thought. It still took me a while get out of my comfort zone for fear of getting lost. Taking the bus and walking around is a great thing to do. You get to know the area, someone will always guide you to the correct bus stop if you ask, and it builds confidence at the same time. Little trips like that every couple or few days will lead to longer trips. :)

1. Baby ducks on the canal. They are just so tiny and precious, and I can't help but giggle watching them zip around in the water.

2. Mentally adding up a lot of the kitchen stuff I still have stored at mom's because it didn't sell before we moved here, so I still have a BUNCH to start with. I think I may have overpriced a lot of it for yard sales because I didn't really want to part with it. I know it is all 'stuff' but I love my kitchen gadgets.

1.) Must be the fat, shy girl in me - but I get super excited when I get invited along unexpectedly to a social occasion. Tonight at choral that happened -going out for a meal with some members before our concert on Saturday night.

2.) Soreen malted fruit loaf!  It tastes amazing, its a perfect not too sweet ending to the day and most importantly, I like packaging that advertises something as being squidgy!
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

I agree Banana Soreen is heavenly Dh got me hooked on it. ;D  [smiley=2thumbsup.gif] I know our Morrisions carries the loaf & our ASDA carries the individual snack size in a 5 pack package. Even though I love it I can only have it on cheat day though. ;)  :)
