1.) Hehheeh, flagged up by HR that my visa is due for renewal.   Yes, it is!  Almost 5 years here! Whee! That made me smile to get that email, because although I know its true and I've got all the dates on the calendar, that made it feel real and I'm getting close to being able to get ILR! (Fingers crossed!!) Yay!    ;D ;D

2.)  Nailed a presentation earlier today! Yay, love when that happens!

1.) I worked out for 84 minutes today. I am really trying to lose some weight. I'm not huge but I'm a bit chubby and the fat doesn't stand a chance! It is not welcome here! I will banish it with moving around. >:C

2.) I studied some of my math I'm having issue with, slowly getting better. Teacher says I'm soooo close to being done, what a freaking tease!

1. Two days in a row off work.

2. We have our old bed set up again. Mom kept it stored for us while we were in the UK. It is a California King with a pillow top mattress. Bliss.

2. Tim Kaine wins the VA senate seat!

1st move to UK - 1993 (Letter of Consent granted at British Embassy in Washington DC)
ILR - 1994 (1 year later - no fee way back then!)
Back to US in 2000
Returned to UK July 2011 (Spousal Visa/KOL endorsement)
ILR - September 2011
Application for naturalization submitted July 2014
Approval received 15-10-14; ceremony scheduled for 10 November!
Passport arrived 25 November 2014. Finally done!

02/03/2012-Email from UK Consul General application needs further processing will receive decision within 10 working days.
02/09/2012-Request for more payslips and custody papers for daughter.
02/22/2012-Submit the requested documents with prayers.
02/24/2012-UK settlement visas issued :)
03/12/2012-Arrive in MAN UK :)

I have more than two things, but they're all politics-related.

1. OBAMA!
2. Net gain for Dems in the Senate (including a record number of women!)
3. Gay marriage wins at the ballot box for the first, second, third and fourth time ever (!!!)
4. Todd "Legitimate Rape" Akin and Richard "Something God Intended" Murdock both lost
5. First openly gay Senator elected
6. NY State Senate went to a Democratic majority
7. I have absolutely nothing major to be upset about as a result of this election!

And Baldwin's replacement in the House of Representatives (Mark Pocan) is also openly gay. Definitely more good news for LGBT community.  :)
