Two things you are happy about today/

It's Thanksgiving tomorrow and I don't feel stressed about it! 

1. My shiny new British passport arrived today!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
Today I'm happy because:

1. It's Thanksgiving! Even though we aren't celebrating the traditional way this year, my husband was able to come home this evening so we will be having a lovely sirloin steak meal and pie this evening! Yay! (Decided with loss of job, not to do anything big this year, but watch out next year!)

2. Got a second interview for a potential job next week! Fingers crossed!

1. It's my first Thanksgiving back in the US in 3 years!

2. Same as #1!!! 

1. Cheesecake!
2. Morris (the cat) does not appear to be traumatised after we left him under the care of the In-Laws while we were on holiday. He was super excited to see us. Greeted us at the door and didn't stop snuggling DH and I for hours. He has settled back into his routine pretty quickly.

Wow, we've had an awesome few days at our house!

1) Christmas shopping for everyone State side is done so I can ship it off this week  and I can stop stressing over it.

2) We're going to a Stoke match today...haven't been since we got back!!

1. The Christmas tree is up! Although I still have a box of fave ornaments in the great abyss of the closet that isn't going on this year, I found a box that I didn't take to the UK with me, so after three years without them, it is like having a bunch of new ornaments again.   

2. We're off tomorrow for a fun day of the zoo and botanical gardens (cold, but there will be giraffes!), Japanese for lunch, and some shopping.

1. Scheduled my 2nd interview for this Wednesday!

2. This weekend will be a holiday weekend to put up the Christmas decor! (and my official "Thanksgiving" celebration is Thursday and my hubby will be home!)

1. DH and I are seeing Elbow tonight in Birmingham!
2. My flight to Boston is on Saturday! Bring on the pizza! 

I have 3 today.

1) My husband got his US citizenship yesterday!

2) We can not move forward with more moving plans

3) All presents for Sweden have been purchased.

1. Hopefully tomorrow I will called to a 4th (and final!) interview with this job I'm hoping to get! I just want to know if I have the job or not!

2. A big group of friends got together the other night to officially celebrate Thanksgiving with me and another American that lives here! It was soo much fun!

1). One of my best and oldest friends took the day off work to spend some time with little ol' me. 

2). I'm presently drinking a cup of my favourite coffee. Yum, yum.

1. I'm off work tomorrow and it is payday! I get paid every other week, and a day off on payday is a rare thing.

2. We're off shopping and out to lunch with mom, dad, my brother and his girlfriend.

Although both of these are for tomorrow, I can still be happy about them today. 

1. Went to Kohl's this morning and found a really neat sweater/poncho type thing marked down -- with my 20% off coupon it was practically nothing!

2. Stopped in Wholefoods to pick up some fruit and they were having a sort of charity bazaar with lots of stalls and a raffle. It was in aid of cancer so thought I better get some raffle tickets. Turns out I won one of the prizes  Some handmade jewelry.

1. Two crockpots of chili on the go.

2. All gifts bought and wrapped, except for two. Those should be easy enough.
