1.) My Dad sent me a recording of his band- he not only played on it, but he was the sound engineer and added other various instruments and backing vocals, etc and well it just sounds really awesome.  So proud of him!!!!!!

2.) Hotel chocolates and chai tea.  Perfect work distraction.   :D

1. Sunshine and warmth. As much as I love snow, I am ready for spring.. and here it is.

2. The never ending joy I get from Moe, who not only loves to talk, but is quite easily the silliest bird I have ever seen. Sometimes I think there is crack in his bird food.  ;D

1. The recycled wool blanket my husband gave me for Christmas. Its so comforting, and perfect for the wintry weather we keep having.

2. Having Thai food from my favourite local!

1. Spring seems to have figured out it is supposed to be here. Much as I love snow, I am ready for spring.

2. Two days off in a row can be very relaxing. I'd been working 7 days a week, trying to get the job I wanted. I couldn't give up my full time one until I had it so I was working two at one and five at the other. In seven weeks' time I'd had two days off, both unplanned. I was off yesterday and today, and I feel like a new woman.  ;D

my 2!

1. I know I keep talking about this all over the site, but glad to be done with the ILR Visa process! It took only 4 weeks! :D

2. Loving the turn around in life, new chapter!...New job is good, able to recover financially from job loss for 5 months, successfully lost 8lbs this month (15lb more to go!). Overall, I'm just MUCH happier with life! Pieces seem to be coming together now!...

Ohh...That was more than 2!  ;)

2.) Starting the week on a Tuesday - killing two birds with one stone - onto Wednesday - the week's 1/2 way through!  ;D

1. The lad ordered a set of towels from JL for me for Mother's Day  :D -- just been delivered.

2. Found a navy wool cardigan (as new) in the arthritis charity shop -- and machine washable.

1. Found a bunch of clothes hidden away that I had intended for a yard sale simply because of the expense of shipping them to the UK when we moved a few years ago. It has been great being reunited with old friends.  ;D

2. Nine hours of sleep last night. Wow!

1.  Worked today but it was actually kind of fun!  (That's also an Unexpected Pleasure)

2. At work today I scored a pretty little cotton dress to wear with leggings, could be a work or play dress.  In colours I never wear; peach with lavender and white (and black).  Also scored M&S jeans, almost new, fit perfect *and* they are not too long--yay!

That alone is a joy! :) At 5 ft 6 I have started trying on petite length first to see how things go. Average length seem to be at least four or five inches too long. Seems like these days petite is long enough, most of the time. If not, I go for average.
