Two things you are happy about today/

1. Having a long overdue, full on screaming match with someone I was very angry with. I feel so much better now! 

2. A long weekend with enough time to do practical stuff, be social AND have some me time. 

1. Had a long overdue catch up weekend with an old friend. It was great seeing him and having the power talks we used to have.

2. He and hubby finally met face to face, and hit it off great.

Two catch ups over skype this weekend with two different friends. Makes me doubly happy! 

1. We found an international store much, much closer to home than the one we used to go to. As in, 60 miles closer. JOY!

2. Their prices are far more reasonable than the other one.

1. Booked our engagement dinner shindig in Greenwich
2.I get to see some of my girlfriends I haven't seen in ages (one is even taking a train from Nottingham to visit)

The little things that you forget about until you're back "home" 

I desperately missed the sound of crickets while living in the UK. The past few nights we have been sitting out, and I am really enjoying the symphony of crickets and tree frogs, with the occasional bullfrog.

Mine:

1. We had a fantastic day out with mom and mum, going for lunch, shopping, and touring the LST ship docked in Evansville.

2. Buying things for my new kitchen. We are moving in August, and I have been using it as an excuse to buy new toys for the kitchen, although I have boxes and boxes of kitchen gadgets stored away.

1. getting a surprise phone call from someone lovely! 

2. first weekend at home in ages with Mr MLG - stuff to do, but at least we are together! 

1. Just enjoyed a two 1/2 day getaway, spending time with a dear friend and relaxing at the hotel he manages.

2. I work today then have another two days off.  The sad part of that is, tomorrow is MIL's last full day here and she heads back to Blackburn Wed.

1. Hubby will start training in a couple weeks to be night auditor at the hotel my friend manages. I'll be finding a job up that way too. It is too far of a commute from here, being a 1 hr 50 minute drive.

2. Although it is mostly great living here, it will be nice to have our own space again.

1. Our application for the apartment we want has been approved. JOY!

2. The lake it is located on is much bigger than I originally thought. I thought it was a small one just outside our building, but when hubby showed me on Google maps, it is HUGE, with a lot of houses and apartment buildings located around it. I missed living by water when we left our flat by the canal. It will be great living by water again. 

My Friend is going to marry today.
I am going to meet my old friends there too.

Mookie kitty arrived safe in Manchester

Movers come today.....it is all very real now

1-Headed to Washington in two days for a 3-day Dave Matthews concert.

2-I am currently wearing sandals.
