2. My avocado pit has developed a root and is beginning to split open.  Should be a little sprout soon!

1. My vacation tomorrow and then next Friday-Tuesday
2. My UK visitor who is on a plane right this minute and on his way to visit me in Georgia.

1. Mom is coming for a visit tomorrow! Odd how living 80 miles away and not seeing each other often because of work schedules is harder than 4000 miles away when we knew we could only visit once or twice a year.

1. Lots of rain and potential storms this evening meant trick or treating was postponed until tomorrow night, which means when I do a mad dash shop later after taking hubby to work, I can replenish the candy bowl before we actually have trick or treaters. We've hit it pretty hard the last couple days.

2. The trees are stunning this year. After last year's drought, they were pretty but not spectacular last year. But this year, WOW!

1.Starting my new job today!

2. Hubby and I are finally on the same shift, and it is day shift. No more trying to figure out how to clean the house around his sleep schedule and me being awake until midnight but doing very little so I didn't disturb the lady downstairs. Now it doesn't all have to be done on days off.
