1. A guest left a brand new photo album with a Disney cover in her room when she left, along with other papers in her (hotel room) trash can. It is in perfect condition, and I am going to give it to my niece for pics of her little guy. Yay for dumpster diving in clean conditions!

2. Mint Medley tea. Love the stuff!

1. My ODD really loves piano  and is good at it.. I initially forced her  to give it  a try  and now  her  confidence  has  really improved  because she truly has  an ear for it and even her teacher  told me so.. She has asked  to contnue  lessons ;D :D :-*

2. had  a good  chat  with a fellow mom..  It is hard  making  sincere  mommy freinds  at times and  M has proven  to  be  a real  cool down-to-earth  person.. Hope the friendship  gets stronger

!. Hubby and I are both off the next two days.

2. The first baby geese made their appearance on the lake yesterday, and I was able to get a closer look today.  They are just so cute!  [smiley=smitten.gif]

1.  The Offspring has made it as far as LHR -- waiting for connecting flight and then will be "chauffeured" across the Pennines!  (He's made "Gold" so is claiming all his perks)

2.  We're off to Holy Island next week (if we can all stop coughing)  :P

1. While not overjoyed by any means, I have found a level of acceptance over a situation with some family, and it feels like a burden has lifted. The situation hasn't changed, but my feelings toward it have.

2. My ears and throat aren't hurting today! I know it was allergy related, but they were sore the last couple days.

1. Feeling human again. There has been a 48 hour version of the usual 24 hour stomach bug going around work, and I got struck with it about 1 am Tuesday. I tried to make it to work and was sent home an hour later. Hubby let my department head know I was trying to stick it out but needed to be home. One of the perks of working at the same place is someone sees reality more clearly than the sick one trying to be brave.

2. Food. Food is awesome after two and a half days of Jello and crackers, more Jello than crackers.

1. M son's passport arrived today so we can finish our visa application!
2. It's in the 80s and sunny - I've gotta soak it up while I can because I know that's unusual in Newcastle. :)

1. DS has sorted out a new Virgin Media plan for us, faster and cheaper!

2. He also bought a framed water colour from a friend for Mother's Day/birthday (early).

He's definitely a keeper!   [smiley=balloon.gif]

1. Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville is reopening later this month after being closed down for a few years! There is something so sad about abandoned roller coasters that makes me want to cry.

2. Today is the last day we suffer with AT&T's super crappy net service! Tomorrow our new service is installed, with over double the speed we are currently supposed to get, but don't actually get.
