Two things you are happy about today/

-Sunny September day
-Quiet time today
-Felt for the first time in awhile like I was ready to go back to work
-Daughter cute swimming underwater in bath can't believe she will be five soon
-feeling better today then yesterday

1. The neighbor/handyman for our building fixed our air conditioner today. It worked, but needed some water drained.

2. I had a productive yet relaxing day off work.

Appreciating time being in my own home
Learning more about me and others each day

1. Pork and veggies in the crockpot for tonight, making the whole place smell homey and heavenly.

2. There will be leftovers for a quick and easy work lunch tomorrow.

3. Mom returns to work tomorrow (home health care) because her lady is coming home from the nursing home, where she has been since a fall broke her hip. It is a relief because mom has been worried about money.

1. Pumpkin Spice coffee. I love a pumpkin spice treat that is diet friendly. 

2. Today is my oldest niece's birthday. it has been a happy day of thinking of all the joy she has brought to my life in the last 24 years.

1. Mom and dad are coming for a visit Friday.

2. Shopping Friday!

1. We had a great swim this morning. I find I am looking forward to them more and more, but wish we could go more than 3 days a week.

2. Nine more weeks til we go on holiday! Yay!

Daughter seems to be pretty settled in reception

1. Cooler mornings and evenings, although we are still hitting daytime highs near 90. Fall is technically here, but the crisp air hasn't hit yet.

2. Clothes are starting to be looser. Yay!

Got a promising job lead today. Who doesn't love those?

My health has been good recently

1. Great visit with mom and dad today, including lunch and dinner.

2. I scored another pair of hand me up shoes that one of my nieces bought and never wore.

1. Best friend's husband had good results for prostate cancer follow-up tests.

2. We're off for a quick jaunt across the Atlantic next week.
