1. We had our first proper fall temps today, reaching a high of 62. Of course, tomorrow it will bounce back to 83, but it means we are nearly there.

2. Halloween socks. I could easily wear a different pair each day of the month without repeating. (I collect socks)

1. The Colts won a hard won game today. Yay! I love the nail biting, praying, holding your breath in fear, down to the last minute before the winner is clear games.

2. We now have Brian Blessed on our TomTom. Driving to new places will never be dull again.

3. Although we have rebounded to the 80s, our couple days of cooler weather helped us to see this place is warmer and cozier than the last one. I miss the lake, but am happy the heating bill will be less.

1. 51 days til we go on holiday.

2. Cooler nights are making for snugglier sleeping.

1. The duvet is washed, looking all fluffy and snuggly for when we need it in a couple/few weeks.

2. Job perks. I washed the duvet free at work. Due to the size, I would have had to use the big machines at the laundromat, and it would have cost about $8 to wash and dry it.

3. Guilt free day off the diet meant yummy pizza for dinner.

1- directed a shoot today and it went really well
2- DH made yummy mee goreng for dinner. Nom.

1. The check arrived today for the money the travel agency owed us.

2. Appointments made for the spec doc Friday for both of us.

3. After listening to a couple* bicker for nearly 45 minutes over EVERYTHING I am extremely grateful we don't have a relationship like that.

* It took less than a minute to identify the husband as someone with absolutely no self esteem who can only make himself feel better by putting his wife down incessantly. I want to smack people like that yet somewhat feel sorry for them at the same time because I can't imagine that level of self doubt/hatred.

1- had a team building afternoon with the company, even the ones I don't like, and had good fun. We all took a cooking class and drank lots of wine. Risotto was my favorite dish.
2- lovely weather here, a bit of autumn creeping in. Love me some jacket wearing weather.

1. Our quick trip to the eye doctor ended up being dinner and shopping too, including birthday shopping for Joey.

2. I had the easiest shoe shopping trip ever this morning. I was after a pair of black trainers. Plain, simple black shoes. The first pair I tried on (Skechers) were a perfect fit, and on sale from $69.99 to $39.99.
