I love potato chips, or tortilla chips on my sandwiches.....also, I love to mix peanut butter and maple syrup in a small bowl, then use it to make a sandwich. I don't put the chips on those, though!! That would be too too weird!

Well I have seen stranger things. I used to work with a woman that would make a sandwich out of fish sticks and peanut butter  :-X

I hate mayonnaise, so when I want tuna salad, I make my own combo: tuna, mustard, and dill relish.  Yum!  I don't think there's anything wrong with it, but I've had friends tell me it's gross.

Extremely weird habit: I drink the juice out of a tuna can (only the spring water ones, obviously, not oil - ugh).  :-[

oh PS, don't ever have an avacado near me that has the pit showing.

I get hot, start to sweat and need to leave the room

(and i've put paper over some pictures in my cookbooks with it).

I have a severe aversion to avacado pits.  they make me really nervous and scare me.

now how is THAT for weird?

I don't mix meats.
The idea of bacon & turkey/chicken/beef patty is just gross.
Although I don't like bacon anyway...

But like a meat paella. Just one type of meat, please. No chicken & beef or something. Ewww...

The only spices I tolerate in beef are black pepper, salt/herbal salt.
Taco spice makes the beef taste off to me.
(but I don't mind beef in sauces that have lots of different spices--it's just the beef that can't have other spices)

I can't stand cooked peas. Fresh (or fresh-ish from the freezer) is the only way. I hate mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower, peas and any type of pickle (fresh is the only way I'll eat cucumber).

I know I'm weird.

Sorry Aless, I like canned tuna but the tuna juice drinking thing is the most disgusting thing I've heard in a long time! I have a friend who hates mayonnaise also and she makes her tuna salad the same way as you. I have to agree with your friend on that one. It's gross.

My new favourite snack:  dulce de leche on toast with stilton.  Melt under the grill.  Yummy!

DH's favourite burger (specialty at Corvette Diner in San Diego):  double bacon burger with peanut butter.  It's called the Elvis.  He'll also put peanut butter on his hot dogs.  And pickles.

No, I fully acknowledge that it's disgusting, but I still do it in the privacy of my own home :-D.

I don't think this sounds so bad actually. Mayo is fine, but if you want a lowfat version, this sounds like it could be quite yummy!

I think I'll give it a try...I like mayo, but it's nice to have something different.  I like mustard and relish so it can't be that bad.

My mother spreads ketchup on toast then dips it into the heavy syrup from canned peaches. I have to leave the room when she eats this one.  [smiley=puke.gif]

Just thought of another!  When I eat pudding/custard/whatever, I have to use the back of my spoon.  Just coat it a bit, then lick it off.  Lasts longer that way. ;)

Peas are evil and must be eliminated!  I will carefully dissect an entire meal to remove the Vile Spheres (down to the tiniest speck) to their place of shame on my plate.  The only time I will let them tarnish my food is if I'm having dinner at someone's house... but even then I'll try to surreptitiously remove as many as possible.

I think my mom used to put peas in meals just to watch me try to find them.
Steer clear of England!! The serve peas with most everything here!

You guys are all a bunch of nutters!!  ;D ;D ;D

The strangest thing I do is dip my french fries in my vanilla shake. Has to be vanilla.

all pizza must be eaten with a knife & fork.

cardboard frozen pizza? knife & fork.

takeaway pizza? knife & fork.

stuffed chicago-style pizza? knife & fork.

there are no exceptions.
