Any one have a recipe they have tried that worked well?

Let me dig into my recipe box.  I have a recipe I used a few years ago that was very nice, also with a gingersnap crust.

Pumpkin cheesecake is one of my absolute favorite things. I use this recipe from my Williams-Sonoma cookbook...

http://www.williams-sonoma.com/recipe/recipedetail.cfm?objectid=4F6254A7%2D13F8%2D4E6E%2DBD88D32F0A67DA45

I leave the topping off when I make.

Now I think I'm going to have to make it tonight.

Oh gosh, this frustrates me!! I used to have a recipe for a double layer (pumpkin on the bottom, cheesecake on the top) pie, but I don't have it anymore! I got it out of the sunday paper coupons inserts back home! I imagine it would be pretty easy to make, just make a regular pumpkin pie, but only fill it halfway, bake it, then add a top layer of cheesecake. I'm pretty sure the recipe I had was a no-bake one, but that might be kinda hard to do here.

I've experimented with one this year, but it was somewhat lackluster in the cheesecake department.  Tasty, but not really "cheesecakey"... bourbon pumpkin cheesecake sounds droolworthy, though, and everything I've gotten off epicurious.com has been lovely so far...off to Google!

I've made this pumpkin cheesecake several times.  I will no doubt be making it again with the pumpkin I've just bought.   ;D   My MIL loves it!

I use McVitie's digestive biscuits for the crust, and real butter (not margarine).  Cornstarch is sold in the UK as "corn flour".

This recipe is very forgiving too - the first time I made it, I used 50% more philly cream cheese than called for, and it *still* was yummy!   ::)

I'm going to try this recipe from the Recipezaar.  It's for my favorite pumpkin cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory.  I'm curious to see if it will actually taste like theirs. I miss the Cheesecake Factory!!!! Haven't found any cheesecake over here that tastes anything like theirs.

I made a great pumpkin cheesecake one year and was about to go search for my recipe.  If I can find it, I'll post it!

Haven't tried them, but I've seen Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes at Costco.

Thanks, JessicaAnne!  A friend of mine on another forum told me about that, but unfortunately the nearest Costco we have is 2 hours away in Bristol.  My hubby wouldn't be too keen for driving that far for a cheesecake... ;D  If only they would put one nearer to us.  :-\\\\
