Renewing childrens USA passports
« on: November 15, 2006, 02:45:24 PM »
When we get back from the US I need to go to London and renew the kids passports

1 of them will be under 18 and one over..so they both have to travel to London..
Now the one that is under 18, don't I have to get a form signed now by their father in the USA?

Last time I did this I just said I didn't know where he was and signed the form myself...
as I am going over this weekend and unfortunatly HAVE to see him what do I need to get him to sign for her passports...

anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

MeShell-

I think you only need the other parent's consent if the minor is under 14.  Check out the state dept website, they should have all the info for you...

Here's a link... http://travel.state.gov/passport/get/minors/minors_834.html

There is a form for the under 14's for parental consent on this site.
When I am grown-up I will understand how BEAUTIFUL it feels to administrate my life effectively.

Until then I will continue to TORCH all correspondence that bores me and to dance NAKED over the remnants of its still glowing embers.
