Finally passed!

Without being overly dramatic, (or maybe I am), the epic of trying to get my UK drivers license has come to a joyous end.  :)

I passed at about 3pm on 16 Nov and am over the moon.

I've worked so hard and have come close to giving up because of the failures, but my parents and family over here wouldn't let me, they virtually bullied me into never quitting and I am so glad they did. 

I passed in a manual transmission car which was really important because my husband and I can only afford one car at the moment, and his is manual transmission. 

I am so proud, just had to shout it out!   ;D

That is so wonderful!!  Congratulations...I have been thinking about you and the difficulties you were having.  Your post made me realize that I'm definitely going to have to take it seriously and start studying now!! 

So glad you passed...best of luck scooting all over town!

thank you all very much!  it is a very big relief  :D

I'd like to help another UKY'er, I no more have the need for the Driving Test Success Theory (2004 PC CD edition, tho I'm sure the questions are very similar, it also has the Highway Code, plus 8 official DSA Hazard perception sample video clips) and the Driving Test Success Practical (PC CD, tho I think this is a bit stupid, I tried it and decided it wasn't for me)  Also you can have the DVD from the DSA "Are you ready?"  I'll send these free of charge to the first person that says here in this thread that they want them, provided they promise to pass them on to another UKY'er once they've passed. :)
