It sure is.  It's been the one grey cloud that's been hanging over me, the one thing that I needed to do to feel like I did back home, and I'm just so glad I stuck with it

I'm going for my theory test later this week.     Its a bit daunting...

I've spoken with the DVLA and they're stand on getting your licence from the US is really pretty lenient.  They told me that I can wait as long as I want before taking my driving test after being here, I just have to be ready to prove my case (I was asking for them to clarify if it was one year after entering officially on a visa or one year after each re-entry in the country...)  They're pretty helpful huh?

Sari...I received all the prep stuff...thank you so much!!  Once I'm through with them and have passed my test, I'll pass them on to anyone on here that would like them.  Kudos to you for sharing!!!

Now that could prove interesting!   I would ask DVLA to put that in writing, because the law states quite clearly that you have only 12 months.    It sounds like yet another example of somebody at DVLA giving information which is incorrect.
