Have you found saltines in the UK?

Try Doriano Italian crackers.  They are the equivalent to saltines.  You can get them most anywhere...Morrison's, Sainsburys, etc...

US favorite:  Gardetto's Original Mix...can eat a whole bag in one setting!!!

UK favorite:  tangy cheese Doritos!

as my sister-in-law would say it's "patheti-sad"....  the fact that anything with sugar is my snack is....pathetisad.

I swear I must be the biggest junk food junkie.  The coolest thing I found in CostCo was those candy "pencil" things (red on the outside with a white sugary thing on the inside)...YUMMY...and the "saucer" things that taste just like communion wafers until you get to the middle and then there is this bolt of sugar....totally weird but good nonetheless :)  If only I could find Swedish Fish...hmmm...life would be complete.

Yup, patheti-sad.

Look in the Kosher food section.  They have them at our Sainsbury's.
Riding the rollercoaster of life without a seat belt!

Also at Ikea.
OMG the candy they have in Sweden is amazing. Big stores of bulk bin candy, anything you can imagine (except candy corn, of course), they even have these bulk bins at video stores. Think the Pic n'Mix at Woolies x10!
I love gummy things and red licorice.

For savory snacks I actually like healthier things like Ry-vita with cottage cheese and salt, problem is, I can eat like 5 slices at a time.

Too right, these crackers are great! They go perfectly with my huge jar of Skippy. :)

I've also found that I eat alot more crisps here than I did in the US. My faves are salt and vinegar and the plain salted ones. If I'm in a sweet mood, definitely Galaxy chocs or Milk Tray..

I just eat whatever's to hand!!

Me too... i dont usually crave anything specifically, but if im feeling peckish and throw open the fridge, i will usually just have a bite of whatever leftovers are there, or... if there is a tub of Betty Crocker icing in there, i will have a few spoonfuls of that.   The vanilla icing is really nice mixed with peanut butter!

Me, too!  I *never* ate crisps back in the US - only the occasional KFC Masterpiece BBQ ones if I bought a sandwich somewhere and it came with chips - but here?  I swear Walker's must put crack in their plain salted crisps!

My favorite is ready salted crisps with Tapatio hot sauce and lime juice, with salted avocados mushed in. It's messy but oh so good.

I love those little wasabi peas. Can you get those here? I've never actually looked for them, but now that I've remembered them I probably won't be able to stop thinking about them. I've been on a cashew kick lately. And liquorice allsorts.

My biggest downfall is toffees. Treacle, liquorice, rum... I find it very hard to pass them up and they are murdering my teeth!
