Walkers vs. Lays vs Utz
« on: February 09, 2004, 12:06:40 AM »
Okay silly topic....

I am addicted to
PRAWN Cocktail crisps...
Love them...
love bacon and Pringles curry and well lots of UK crisps.
I  had to also add the new Walkers Thai Chili...

So are you a "crisps" or a "chip" person?
(You know chip in the US sense. ;D)

LOVE Curry Pringles..
Walkers roasted chicken and smokey bacon

I'll take walkers most days over Lays :)

Chips!  Without a doubt.  I've changed my spelling and a lot of my words, but I don't think I'll ever stop calling them chips.

BTW, Vnice, why didn't you offer us the choice of Utz?  :P

Mindy, I had no idea how much I missed Ruffles until we went back in November and my husband ordered a sandwich that came with Ruffles on the side.  And I ate almost all of them...couldn't stop myself.

I love curry Pringles and I love Walkers crisps, but I am definitely bringing back some Ruffles when I go back in a few weeks' time... ;)

I love Walkers salt and vinegar.  Thai chili is good too.  Have you ridged chip fans tried McCoy's?  They're ridged...

Don't care for McCoy's.  Don't think the flavour is as *strong* as they make out to be - plain Walkers are stronger to me!  And the ridges just aren't the same!

I'm not much on McCoy's either; they taste like cardboard to me.  My son, however, loves 'em.

So I'm packing my little guy's lunch today and as I'm putting the packet of Walkers Quavers into his bag, I notice a little list of *other* products they make.

And CHEETOS is listed!

But it's nowhere on their website (or the stores, for that matter!).

What a cruel cruel joke to play on an innocent mother at 7.30 in the morning... :-/

I love Walkers Cheese & Onion. As for all the fancy Fish Stew with Capers Chips and Roasted Duck with Marmalade chips.... BAH! I say burn them all. :)

I'm done moving. Unrepatriated back to the UK, here for good!

I've had the UK version of Cheetos (years ago), they're nothing like the US version, they were vile, I was so disappointed. I prefer Wotsits.

I feel better now, Leah!  Thanks!  I'll just stick with my Wotsits - I always prefered Cheese Puffs to Cheetos anyway!  ;D
