Marmite.  Loads and loads of marmite.
Love your life, poor as it is. You may perhaps have some pleasant, thrilling, glorious hours, even in a poorhouse. The setting sun is reflected from the windows of the almshouse as brightly as from the rich man’s abode; the snow melts before its doors as early in the spring. Cultivate property like a garden herb, like sage. Do not trouble yourself much to get new things, whether clothes or friends. Turn the old; return to them. Things do not change; we change. Sell your clothes and keep your thoughts…

Does she drink? She might like to try WKD blue and other stuff that isnt in the USA. And quavers, prawn flavoured crisps, etc. And sweets like, aeros, that arent really found in America. Maybe take her to the store and let her pick out some stuff to have?

Branston pickle, some Double Gloucester cheese and pickled onions.  Clotted cream.  Sherry trifle.

Some of my favorites to eat while in England are:

Cornish pasties
Fish n' chips
Cheese (any kind I just love the cheese there!)
Yorkshire pudding
Sausage rolls
Flapjack
