Sushi in London
« on: December 06, 2006, 08:05:17 PM »
Can anyone recommend a place for me?  Nothing fancy.  Just as long as it's fresh and not to expensive.
We are going a Sunday lunchtime FYI
Thank you

Yo Sushi?  There's a ton of them...they are decent and not expensive.  You can find the location of one online http://www.yosushi.com/

I second Yo Sushi!  It's not exepensive and it certainly isn't fancy but the sushi is good.  They make the rolls right in front of you and then put them on a plate and on a conveyor belt.  You pick up what you want as it comes by you or order something if you don't see it.  Yummy.

Misato!!
(I think it was originally recommended by Aimiloo or someone here)
I never even liked sushi til we went there... I ended up taking friends back at a later date.
Cheap, huge portions, non-ambience, but...
Some people complain about the service, but I've never had a problem.
Prepare for a queue, but it moves, and it's worth it.

I haven't had proper sushi in years!
The Yo! Sushi shop in Edinburgh closed down... i must have a look to see if there are any other sushi places that are easy to get to.

Mmmmm... sushi and sake!

I've never had their sushi, but Kintaro Sushi near Leicester Square is a favorite among my friends - they have no atmosphere whatsoever, but their pork dumplings are fantastic. :)
