Hi All,
I sent off my visa application off to NY on Monday. They received it Tuesday (I tracked it via Fedex) but haven't heard anything from the consulate about it being processed. It's a marriage visa application so that I can move to the UK with my new husband in a few weeks. I wasn't that nervous when I sent it off because I was confident that we had everything in order. But, since the britainusa website says they will email me at every stage of the process, I thought I might get something saying they had received my application and were reviewing it. I haven't heard anything yet and I'm starting to panic a little bit because we had to book our flights and if anything goes wrong, I will be in big trouble.
My husbands company is paying for our flights and they required him to book them by this week so he did so yesterday. Oh boy this visa thing is a killer, huh?
Well, sorry to go on... I just needed to share with someone who would understand the stress of it all.
