Las Iguanas

While it may not be to everyone's taste, I want to highly recommend Las Iguanas http://www.iguanas.co.uk/index.asp at Royal Festival Hall as a great place for a get-together.  I arranged something there, untried, when I was in London in October, in order to hook up with about 12 of my Live Journal friends coming from all over the Southeast.  It was convenient for transportation needs, easy to find and they had no trouble with a relatively large group, who sat and ate and drank and talked for about three hours.  Didn't feel pressured or in the way or rushed.  We did all have a meal and numerous drinks, but the wait staff was great, even took photos for us and everybody really enjoyed themselves.

Las Iguanas in Leeds is great too.  I've had a couple work dos there before.  They have great Happy Hour drinks specials too -- reminds you a little bit of an American-style chain restaurant.

I ate at the one in Cardiff and loved it!
