Truly!  I mean it's like some guy was sitting around one day and said, 'you know what sounds good?  Congealed pig blood and fat wrapped up in stomach lining!  Yum!'.

No point to this really.

I tried it, too (my mother was big on Brownie Bites as a kid, and DF wanted me to try it)...

I'm ashamed to say that I actually spit it right back out on the plate.  :-X

I was very skeptical of it, my boyfriend and I were in Ireland and he wouldn't tell me what was in it. I tried a very small bite and swallowed that, but didn't want to eat any more than that. After I said I thought it was gross he told me what it was and then ate his portion of it!!

Yuck indeed!!  :o

Call me strange but I love it!!  Whenever we have a full english breakfast I have some (In Manchester it's part of the FE).  I actually grew up w/ a Portuguese version of it (spicier and a bit more moist) also had it in Madrid and again loved it.  In the states visiting family and actually just had some last night w/ dinner.

I like it too.  I tried it when I first visited Ireland and I thought it was just another kind of sausage.  Once I found out what's in it...well, I haven't had it since!

My husband didn't like black pudding originally (here in the UK), until he had the morcilla in Spain -- then he found a taste for black pudding.  I'm still too chicken! :-[

 ;D

I don't eat red meat, otherwise I'd definitely be game (no pun intended) to try it! However, given my distaste for meat, I don't think I'd enjoy it!

I've had it in different countries. It's just okay. I definitely don't lick my lips over it.  ;)

All I've ever had was a little nibble of it and that was enough. Yuck!!!
