i tota;lly agree.  i do the winning points but give myself one 'bad' day a week and that's how i really lose.

flex was messing with my head.  i would eat only 20 points 5 days of the week then go hog wild and eat things i never would normally eat and not count them right and not lose at all.

blah.  10 lbs to get back to where i was and it's so frigging hard this time. it was much easier when i lost a bunch of weight the first time.

Well kudos to you for the loss.   I got to my first 10% then gained it back in the last two months... well 5 lbs shy of gaining it all back.... :-X

We want to have kids and I have to lose this weight.  Plus my knees hurt again... :(

OMG i know about the knees hurting.  I felt so awesome when i was at my goal weight.....david was drooling all over me hehehe and i was so healthy and confident.

i get engaged and whoops, here comes 13 lbs in 6 months!  yikes.  So here i am with these awesome summer clothes i can't fit into and a wedding dress that is a little snug..........

i love the program so much.  been following since june 2001 and kept the weight off for over a year!  i'm a big advocate of it...in case you can't tell.   :P

Since we're poor, I am considering buying the "Starter Kit" on Ebay.  You can get it for like $25 there, and then no meetings (of course, I would not be allowed to go to meetings anyway).

BTW...I did talk to my doctor, and he said it was OK for me to do it as long as I don't lose weight.  Because I gained 60 lbs. with Dagmar, I'd like to try keeping my weight gain more under control this time (of course, the fact that I'm constantly queasy and a lot of foods don't taste right is helping me already).  Anyway, this is my only concern about doing it by myself...I'm not sure how many points I should have.  Will that info be in the starter kit, does anyone know?  I mean, is the info clear enough that I could figure it out?

And babies.....i've got till after we do the UK thing then return back to the states for babies BUT i want to be healthy and happy when i get preggo too!!!!!!

Man, but sometimes i get that baby bug and it's bad.  I was talking to david last night and we were talking about our uk future and then moving back and i said 'i can't wait to move back and have babies' and for the first time he let out a *choke* and said 'well lets wait till we're ready for that financially!  Only practising till then!' and i just laughed.  He's always so ready to have a family until *I* say the words and he gets scared i'm going to skip my pill or somehting.

SAF there will be info in there about nursing mothers but not expectant ones.  if the dr said for you to just not lose weight then you would take the range they give you in the starter kit then add about 4 pts to maintain (that's what i need....to maintain i need about 26 pts a day.  to lose i need about 20-22 points a day.

Hey I have WW online so lets do it.  Walkers are 4 pts!   :P  I was just going to switch from US online to UK online.....

VNP, we can chat about doing this together most definitely but only if I get my broadband sorted. I tried WW online with dial up and it's a right nightmare. I spend too much time on the computer anyway (something to bear in mind if you do a Phd!) and do sort of prefer having the publications. Hmmmmm.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

You might want to check e-bay.
Last time i looked there were several people selling not only WW cookbooks, but also the WW material/booklets that you get when you join up.
