I am regretting having gotten rid of some of my cookbooks prior to moving here. Because I prefer to cook using US measurements (rather than weights), are there any cookbooks you would recommend? I still have a few - like Betty Crocker.
I use allrecipes.com often, but sometimes want to look through a book. Also, have considered buying one of those copycat recipes books (from restaurants, etc). Has anyone used one of those books, and are the recipes worth making (and can the ingredients be found here)?
My mother is coming for a visit soon, and I was going to order a few books off amazon for her to bring.
